Special Event Themes

Flavor The Town presents package deals to guide your decision making process. They are designed as well rounded meals or great accompaniments to your occasion. All selections are displayed as a theme with colorful platters, table linens, props, and chafers.

The Shower

Assorted small gourmet sandwiches displayed for easy grabbing. One of our signature pastas tossed to order in front of your guests. Choice of one leaf salad. An assortment of muffins and quick breads with butter and jam. Coffee, tea, and punch.

The Open House

Four types of Hors D’oeuvres passed among your guests. Combination of cheese, meats, and sausages with assorted crackers. Dramatic fresh fruit display. Choice of buffet entree, vegetable, side dish, and salad.

Cocktails

A wheel of brie cheese wrapped in flaky pastry and baked golden brown, garnished with an onion craisin jam, French bread, and frosted grapes. An assortment of olives and pickled peppers, sliced sausage, and duck pate with toast points. Hummus and a roasted pepper cream cheese spread with fresh pita. Smoked salmon sandwiches with arugala mayonnaise. Mini crab cakes with a Cajun remoulade.

The Sports-Pak

Hot and BBQ chicken wings with plenty of carrots, celery, and blue cheese dip. The four foot super sub piled high with deli-meats, cheeses, lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers, and Italian vinaigrette. Sauteed perogies with Italian sausage, peppers, and onions. Meatballs simmered in tomato sauce with French bread and parmesan cheese.

New Orleans

Chicken gumbo and seafood jambalaya with steamed rice. Crawfish ettoufeé with flaky pastry shells. Grilled spicy andouille sausage with baguettes and rouille.Crisp salad greens with sliced onion, red pepper, candied pecans, and mango vinaigrette. Plenty of corn bread and biscuits with honey and praline butter.

Asian

Fried potstickers and egg rolls with a sweet ginger dipping sauce. Chilled peppercorn crusted tuna loin sliced and displayed with pickled ginger and wasabi. Sticky rice balls tied in steamed leeks. Vegetable and crab sushi with a soy chili sauce. Cashew shrimp and chicken with crisp veggies and a light garlic sauce. Spinach salad with mandarin oranges, lotus flower, spring onions, and crispy chow mein.

Italian

Tossed salad with fresh mozzarella, vine ripened tomato, red onion, buttered croutons, and our signature balsamic vinaigrette. Grilled Italian sausages smothered in peppers, onions, and roasted tomatoes. Saffron risotto cooked to order. Breaded steak served with Sunday gravy and baked penne pasta. Italian rolls and foccacia with whipped butter and herb infused olive oil.

Ole Mexico

Hot chorizo tamales with guacamole, sour cream, and salsa. South of the border seven layer dip with tortilla chips. Soft and hard beef tacos with all the toppings. Spiced up beans and rice with chili peppers and fresh cilantro. Roasted chicken enchiladas with melted cheese and tomatillo sauce. Plenty of chips, salsa, and hot sauce.

The Mediterranean

Fresh Lamb skewers grilled and served with thatziki. Moussaka, ground lamb and beef, eggplant, and potato casserole with cinnamon clove tomato sauce, béchamel, and cheese. Spinach pies with raisins and pine nuts. Seasoned rice with mint leaves, cinnamon, and garlic. Plenty of pita bread with tabbouleh, hummus, olives, and lebne.
